Butter Flower Farm was founded by three friends with a shared passion for plants and creativity. Larissa Duprey, a seasoned vegetable farmer, met Brenn Busker, an experienced floral designer specializing in weddings, in 2019. Their friendship quickly blossomed into a shared vision of creating a flower farm.

In 2022, Larissa moved to Yellow Springs, Ohio, and fell in love with both the town and Evan Pitstick, a lifelong resident of Yellow Springs. Together, Larissa and Evan began planning a future that included building a business on their 11-acre farm on the edge of town. They soon convinced Brenn to return to Ohio, and the three co-founded Butter Flower Farm.
